Founded in 1958, Lambrecht Auction is a three-generation family-owned Auction company that offers weekly Auctions ranging from Building Materials, Box Store, Estates, Consignments, Sportsman’s Auctions and more! We’ve modernized the Auction experience and specialize in conducting online Auctions and offer convenient pick-up locations that rotate around the east coast throughout the year. Founded by Tony

Tony attended the Reisch American School of Auctioneering in Iowa and founded the company which primarily conducted farm and dairy dispersals along with assorted estate auctions.

1975

Walton Facility Built

1975

Tony ran auctions primarily out of the Trout Creek auction barn until a new facility was constructed in Walton, NY which became the new primary auction facility.

1983

Dale Takes Over

1983

Founder, Tony Lambrecht, passes away unexpectedly. Tony’s son Dale assumes leadership of the company after his father’s passing. Tony’s legacy of honesty, fair dealing, and unwavering commitment to his word continues to guide and inspire us every day.

Re-branding

Real Estate auctions were added to expand services. Company renamed as “Lambrecht Auction & Real Estate Company”

1988

Dale Certified

1988

Dale Lambrecht receives his professional designation from Certified Auctioneers Institute

1989

Auction Facility Expands

1989

The auction facility doubled in size and then was fully renovated the following year in response to company growth.

1998

Championship Calling

1998

Dale Lambrecht wins the 1998 NYSAA Bid Calling Championship and is recognized for service to the organization.

2006

Hall of Fame

Dale Lambrecht is inducted into the NYSAA Hall of Fame.

2010

Building Materials Niche

The company began exploring and developing a niche doing business in Building Material Auctions.

2015

Jared Moves Up

2015

Jared Lambrecht joins his father, Dale, as a co-owner. Company renamed Lambrecht Auction Inc.

2016

Moving to Bainbridge

2016

Company relocates to former Elmer’s Glue Factory in Bainbridge, NY. The facility consists of a 48,000 square foot warehouse on 20 acres that allowed the company to continue to expand.

Sweet Bidding

Jared Lambrecht volunteers auctioneering services to Cub Scouts in Cake Auction Fundraiser.

2019

Satellite Pick-ups

Although the company had been offering “On the Road” auctions since 2008, in 2019 the satellite pick-up service was revamped allowing bidders near and far to get the best deals in every auction.

Serving 4-H Youth

2020

Lambrecht Auction’s experience in hosting online auctions allows Delaware County 4-H youth to market their beef, swine, sheep, and goats to buyers despite the cancellation of the Delaware County Fair due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Business of Distinction

Lambrecht Auction recognized as a Business of Distinction by the Bainbridge Chamber of Commerce and Assemblyman Joseph Angelino.

New Headquarters

Grand Opening of new warehouse at the former Kmart in Sidney, NY. Host a fundraiser event that includes raffles, a benefit dinner and a charity auction that raise $18,500 for Sidney EMS, exceeding the event goal of $10,000. Site adds a warehouse of 100,000 square feet and outdoor storage area for building material auctions

Tony Lambrecht

Auctioneer, Founder

Tony Lambrecht, an esteemed auctioneer, graduated from the Reisch American School of Auctioneering in 1958. Throughout his career, he conducted numerous dairy cattle and other auctions, both on-site and at permanent facilities in Trout Creek and Walton. In 1975, he built our auction facility near Walton, further solidifying his impact on the industry. Tony passed away unexpectedly in 1983, leaving behind a legacy of honesty, fair dealing, and unwavering commitment to his word. This legacy continues to guide and inspire us every day.

Dale Lambrecht

Auctioneer, Co-owner

Dale Lambrecht is an experienced auctioneer and licensed real estate broker in New York State. Dale operates and manages the Estate, Consignment, and Sportmans Auctions. He's a proud member of the National Auction Association (NAA), New York State Auctioneers Association (NYSAA), and Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association (PAA). Dale won the 1998 NYSAA Bid Calling Championship and was inducted into the NYSAA Hall of Fame in 2006. He has also served as NYSAA President and was on the Board of Directors. Dale is a graduate of the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI).

Jared Lambrecht, an accomplished auctioneer, holds real estate broker licenses in NY, WY, and MT. As a member of the National Auction Association (NAA), New York State Auctioneers Association (NYSAA), and Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association (PAA), Jared leverages his extensive industry connections to benefit both consigners and buyers. His experience includes serving on the NYSAA Board of Directors as Vice-President of NYSAA. Jared helped to develop and now operates and manages the Building Materials and Box Store Auctions.
